Schizophrenia:Blessing in Disguise

Well it may not be sound so good as the topic is but the real truth is that it is indeed a blessing to suffer in this world may not be Schizophrenia always.

I would like to talk about what help I can lend to those who are in same boat i.e. suffering from Schizophrenia of any kind as I suffer.

  1. Meditation.As much as self introspection is important so is meditation.Meditate only up to the point you can for certain amount of time thereafter take a break.
  2. Now let us go little deep into the disorder.Generally speaking auditory and visual hallucinations with no touch of reality is being produced at any point of day or rather for a longer time but worry not God has sent solution for everything.The biggest solution according to AMMA is accept the truth and move ahead.
  3. At the point of suffering there may be little scope for improvement but if u c even an aeroplane which is flying high is static for a person sitting inside but still it is moving.So the oar to the boat is mantra japa or any japa or recitation of mantra of any chosen God(Ishta devta). It prevents mind from moving haywire.
  4. Normally the tendency to go into past or worry of the future makes one hallucinate so it is required to be fully in present knowing well that in this Ganges of world both failures and success are nothing but success in real terms.
  5. Root problem to be removed can be done by talking to a psychiatrist or a counselor.And taking proper medicine just like diabetes or any other physical ailment , mental ailment can also be overcome.
  6. Take intermittent breaks of 5 min where you gather your thoughts because after a point the stress increases and for a schizophrenic that requires a lot of confidence so take breaks sufficiently.
  7. Be organized and never skip meals or your regular routine at any cost.
  8. Keep a target of 21 days habit formation where you just think about God whenever you are moody or down with the disorder.And for this you have to force upon the negative thoughts with an impression of God which will change your divine love perspective and make you calm and composed along with enough compassion.
  9. Remember as Amma says confidence is like a booster rocket it can overcome any obstacle.Whenever u feel down don't relate to your immediate or gone by past or nearby worries of future.Set all of them aside and just focus on surrendering to God.
  10. Read Upanishads,Shastras,Vedas,Bhagwad Gita and above all stop watching any kind of movies or using abusive language or staying in bad company or listening to music.Stay focused on your work and rest and rest assured all will be well.
